Sport-Specific Athletes
Training and physiology tuned to your sport's demands — not a generic program.
I'm a personal trainer first. Every client starts with coaching: a NASM assessment, a Pain-Free Performance plan, and a coach in your corner.
Training and physiology tuned to your sport's demands — not a generic program.
Strength, mobility, and hormone health managed together as you get older, not separately.
Pain-Free Performance programming that rebuilds capacity without re-injury.
Angela Botard is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and NASM Physique & Bodybuilding Coach with 10 years of experience guiding a wide range of clients to their health and wellness goals. She is results-oriented and adaptable, with a passion for designing training and nutrition plans that maximize performance, improve endurance, and raise overall well-being. She specializes in functional fitness, running performance programming, movement modification, and individualized training for athletes, active adults, older adults, and anyone returning to exercise after injury or surgery.
Angela makes workouts fun and rewarding. She has deep expertise in teaching proper lifting technique and educating clients on nutrition and hydration, and she guides every client through safe exercise matched to their individual strength and abilities. She leads groups of all ages, administers fitness assessments, and counsels clients on exercise and nutrition habits that last. You will find her organized, patient, and self-motivating, with high expectations for every client she coaches.
Angela's commitment to health started at home. She was raised by parents who believed in caring for their bodies for the long run, and good nutrition and fitness were always at the heart of family life. Her mother was a model, and her father was a Southern Middleweight and Welterweight Champion.
Watching them, Angela learned early that strength, discipline, and healthy eating are habits you build for a lifetime. Today she sees the lasting impact those habits had on her parents' lives, and on her own. That understanding is what drives her work: she is passionate about guiding others toward a healthier, stronger future, so they can live longer, feel their best, and keep doing what they love as they age.
Angela trained a Junior Olympic swimmer who went on to become a state record holder and earn Athlete of the Year and All-American honors in her freshman year at the University of Michigan.
Angela believes exceptional results come from looking at the whole person — not simply the workout. Through ABC Health & Performance, she combines her coaching methodology with individualized exercise programming, nutrition and meal-prep guidance, recovery strategies, and access to medical services from independent licensed healthcare providers when appropriate. Her specialty, Pain-Free Performance Movement, helps clients modify movement intelligently so they can keep progressing while respecting their individual limitations, goals, and stage of life.
“You don't have to choose between performing at your best today and investing in your health for tomorrow. The right strategy can support both.”
Personalized. Evidence-informed. Performance-driven. Every client has a different body, history, lifestyle, and goal. Angela's job is to meet clients where they are, identify what they need, and build a strategy that allows them to progress — not simply participate. Her goal is for every client to feel supported and cared for as they build a healthier, stronger life for the years ahead.
“I know how to fight, and I'm passionate about standing by your side to fight for your health and your life — especially when others would have you settle for a blanket, one-size-fits-all answer. Whether you're chasing a personal best, coming back from surgery, or simply want to feel strong as you age, you deserve a coach who sees the whole person and won't give up on you.”— Angela Botard, NASM-CPT
Here is what you can expect when we work together.
NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Physique & Bodybuilding Coach, PPS Pain-Free Performance Specialist, Barbell Rehab Method, TRX, and First Aid/CPR certified, with 10 years of hands-on coaching.
Pain-Free Performance means we work with your injuries, surgeries, and limitations, not around them. You keep progressing at every stage of life.
From adults returning after surgery to a Junior Olympic swimmer who became a state record holder and All-American at the University of Michigan, I have coached a wide range of athletes and goals. Individual results vary.
You learn proper lifting technique alongside practical nutrition, hydration, and meal-prep habits, so the results you earn in the gym last outside it.
Your training and nutrition adjust as your body changes, and coaching can be coordinated with any care you choose to receive from an independent licensed provider.
Workouts are fun and rewarding. I am patient and organized, I hold high expectations, and I care about your long-term health as much as you do.
Before we write a single program, I want to understand how your body moves today. My assessment follows the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) approach, so your training starts from where you actually are, not from a template.
I'll review your answers and reach out within 1–2 business days to confirm your assessment time. If you claimed the $49 new-client offer, I'll send payment details when I confirm your time. Talk soon! — Angela Botard, NASM-CPT
Claimed the new-client offer? Your assessment is in, so you can pay the $49.00 now (a $249.00 value), or wait for my confirmation.
Train. Optimize. Thrive.
Start with a NASM assessment and we'll walk through your goals and how coaching works. Whether any medical treatment is right for you is determined only by a licensed healthcare provider after an appropriate evaluation.
